i and my wife stayed in hotel arpana at thiruvanamalai for 1 day.
We had a pleasant experience in this hotel. The continuous soothing music in the corridors add to the value of the hotel. The hotel rooms are of of european standards, very clean, rooms and staircase are nicely decorated with local hand written paintings. The food was only vegetarian, not very spicy, soft good for children and no hot drinks which we liked very much. The resturant is small but well kept and people attending us were very helpful.
The hotel on one side is surrounded by mountain which is very good scenic view. GOOD 4 WHEELER PARKING PRESENT BUT IN OPEN SUN WITHOUT COVER.Staff of the hotel are well dressed and courteous. which was sending regular sms. I feel the hotel is one of the best in thiruvanamalai which is a district head quarters. Roads are very bad and reaching from bangalore via krishnagiri is dangerous with very big pot holes throughout but coming back via vellore is worth but 80 kms extra.
