the rooms are ok and clean only it gets too noisy as in our case we reached shirdi in the morning at 7am and wanted to get some rest. hot water is available only in the morning from 4-8am we were not informed but they arranged it for us even at 930am. overall the hotel is ok for a stay of a day or two. senior citizens may find it difficult as no lift and they will have to take the stairs.

When I reached Shirdi temple, it took some time to locate the hotel as the hotel was not known to many and it was in the bylanes but the advantage was that it was near the temple. My room was on the third floor and in absence of any lift, it was tiresome to reach the top floor through stairs. The towels provided by the hotel were not clean.

Room 106, which was allocated to us, was reasonable. However, with no ventilation or natural lighting, this non-AC room was genuinely clostrophobic to us. I am not sure if any towel etc is provided since we were provided with none. Room service was non existent. Though the hotel looked good from outside, the road in front was dirty. I would suggest travel guru to rethink whether this hotel with its people with casual approach to customers' requirement should be recommended.

The Disha palace is best budget hotel for middle class without compromising on quality & needs. The staff are courteous and responsive. Negative is the hotel does not have more natural ventilation which causes suffocation in a non AC rooms. Rooms are bit cramped restricting free space.Toilets are neat & clean.Very near to temple and shopping complex. To sum it up not a bad hotel for a short stay.

I think this is a decent hotel and value for money. The good part of the hotel is that its very close to the Mandir and one can do a 5 min walk to the mandir. The room is neat and clean and maintained well. The staff is sometimes overzealous and instead of sticking to the 12 noon checkout might ask you to checkout before itself if they have given the room early on your arrival. I think this trait crops up during the weekends and holiday period. But otherwise we had a peaceful stay in Shirdi.

I DID NOT STAY IN THE HOTEL AS THE HOTEL WAS JUST NOT WORTH STAYING. I WAS GIVEN TO UNDERSTAND THAT THIS HOTEL HAD A GOOD RATING AND THAT IS WHY, I HAD BOOKED IT ALTHOUGH IT IS A BUDGET HOTEL. FROM THE MOMENT WE ENTERED THE HOTEL, IT WAS PATHETIC, THE ROOMS WERE SMELLING MUSTY, THE BEDSHEETS HAD STAINS ALL OVER AND WERE TORN. WHEN WE BROUGHT THIS TO THE ATTENTION OF THE CONCERNED STAFF, THEY JUST SAID THAT ALL THE BEDSHEETS WERE THE SAME AND IN FACT, THEY BROUGHT US NEW BEDSHEETS AND WE SAW THAT THEY TOO HAD HOLES AND STAINS. WE HAD OPTED FOR A NON- AC ROOM AND WERE SURPRISED TO FIND THAT THERE WAS NO VENTILATION AND NO WINDOW AT ALL IN THE ROOM. THE STAFF WERE VERY RUDE. IN FACT, YOU CANNOT EVEN CALL IT A HOTEL. IT IS MORE OF A MOTEL OR MUCH LESS THAN THAT.

I visited Shirdi from 14-15 Aug 2010. The hotel is named as Disha Palace. This is a basic hotel with no frills. The front desk is also basic. The rooms were good and clean. No hot water after 9AM. Towels/ soap etc has to be asked for. No lift so elderly people and children havee problem. No room service so food is a prolem. The hotel is situated close to the Temple. People are friedly. Overall a fair hotel experience.

It was a good stay in Shirdi at Hotel Disha Palace. Good value for money. Served all my basic needs satisfactorily at a reasonable cost. The best part - it is very close to Saibaba Mandir. Not even 5 mins by walk. I booked 1 double bed and 1 triple bed rooms. The rooms were not very big. But had sufficient space to stay comfortably. As the hotel is new, the rooms and the bathrooms were clean. The staff were helpful. Only thing - they don't have own kitchen / restaurant. Hence, if food is ordered, they bring it from outside. We had only dinner in the hotel. It was of good taste though we had to wait little long as it was brought from outside. Breakfast, snacks are easily available at little shops just in front of the hotel. They prepare it in front of you, serves hot and at a very reasonable rate. There are also few small but good places for lunch and dinner within 2 mins walk. The hotel also has parking space for 6 ~ 8 cars. Though the entrance view of the hotel is not good, but overal

Actually we struggled to find out the way to reach the hotel as it was not in the main road. After nearly 500M take turn to left and you will reach the hotel. The surroundings of the hotel is not that much up to the mark but the Hotel and inside rooms are well maintained. There is not much parking space out side the hotel but we can park up to 4-5 cars. The guy at the front desk was so friendly and helped us to check in and even send a person along with us to guide to the Temple. By the normal route it will take 15-20 Mins to reach the temple whereas if you go via inner routes guided by the hotel boy it took only 3-4 Mins to reach temple gate 4. Rooms are clean and comfortable for the rate. The towels which we got was so old and got it on demand only. TV wont work if the Hotel is working on Generator power. Its a good place for the money you are paying and comfortable stay.

Good hotel for a short stay like Shirdi where we have to go for darshan and need to keep mobile etc in locker. We can keep them at hotel and take back as the hotel is just behind the temple. Good to roam in market till night as the hotel is near. Parking was good, staff was good. In general a good service and also cheep. Dinning was not there. Just tell hotel to keep drinking water bottles in hotel...as currently they don?t provide and in night it is difficult in case we miss to bring the water from market.

The receptionist guy sent his executive near me and helped me to reach the hotel. Rooms are clean and tidy. Initially it was told that hot water would be available from 5AM to 9AM but i could get hot water in the evening also. Only issue was with not so great toilet. Good Points: 1. Very near to the temple complex 2.New property hence rooms are in very good condition 3. Very reasonable price with respect to the quality of the rooms Bad Points: 1. No daily cleaning 2. Practically No dining facility. Tea if ordered comes quite late from nearby stall. 3. practically no room service. 4. Receptionist got easily agitated when we reachedrequested 2-3 times for someone to pick our luggage as the entrance area was jam packed with guests vehicles. 5. there is a slum kind of area just in front of the hotel (hotel is in a streetnot on main road as shown in pictures on travel guru). Noises from a husband wife quarrel kept us up till late at night. 6. Power outage is frequentACs dont work during this time but due to pleasant weather we did not miss the ACs too much at such times. Overall: If you do not mind the room servicethe area then it is goods value for money as the rooms are newin good condition. Quite OK for a budget hotel.

The Hotel is closed to the Temple; it was really very convenient considering the Scorching Sun. The Cleanliness has to improve a lot, specially the toilet. The soap pcs , packets used by previous traveler were still in the toilets. May be looking at the photos on the network we expected more. The phone in the room was not working and even after complaint it was dead. There is no cupboard to keep our belongings which should he a "COMMON MUST" in any hotel. Since we did not stay for longer hours in the room we could not really feel the environment. In general the hotel has lot of room to improve. The front office staff was very friendly and smiling even at early morning 4am when we arrived.
