The room shown at the time of booking on internet was allotted to some other customer. The room allotted was not at all good. Staff doesn't bother about anything. Talked to marketing head at Thrissur once but not even they bothered to come back with the option. Bathroom cold water tap was broken. The manager told us to get the water in the bathroom near commode. lighting was poor in the room. Beds were shaking. Mattress and bedsheets were stinking. Maintenance is zero. All the service provided by the hotel is very slow or not available. I wonder why the management is ruining such a good property but not doing maintenance and providing good service. I had asked for the refund of money which the manager was not willing.

Excellent

The resort is an old property and needs renovation.Rooms are big and the support staffs are very helpful and prompt. One need to spend some time to navigate to the property as this is not a known one for locals. Night view of OOTY city is awesome from this property. Food is reasonably priced and OK to test. Will recommend to people who wants a budget resort.

Rooms are very big and interior decor is excellent, only negative point i found was food options in morning breakfast, they were serving only south indian food , it wud have been great if there was a choice between south indian and american breakfast. Sevice was good , although they are short of staff. Hotel is on top of a cliff, from where you can see whole of ooty. specially awesome view at night. they also arrange for bonfire out side in the lawns for rs700. I had booked club rooms but they gave king rooms instead. overall a good experience
