Service was excellent, people are extremely friendly and helpful. Complimentary all meals was good but they need to increase in non-veg options in their menu. Its a huge property with good ambiance, much space to walk around. But we had a problem with the room as our Super Deluxe Non A/C room was not up to the mark in terms of cleanliness also it was not spacious.

We had stayed in a super deluxe room here & we felt its a bit expensive. Otherwise location was good for a vacation stay. My room was very well maintained. The room service was prompt. The food served was decent as well. I would recommend this property.

Our stay was comfortable and the Super Deluxe Room (Non A/C) was fine. The complimentary all meals for 3 days was great, also they kept on changing the menu. The service provided was fine too. It could be recommendable.

Access: Hotel was located to Mahableshwar Market easy to travel around Security: there no level of security within the resort no security guard and the Main Entry gate was open 24*7 inviting all unwanted people. Parking: Open parking was available but without any security. Reception and Front Desk: Not upto the mark to attend any calls for the direction of the Hotel. Food & Room Service: It was worse , no room service for two days , no adequate Hot water and delay responses from the front desk. Overall: I will not recommend any body for this resort in future for such pathetic services.

While there are many options for a stay in Mahabaleshwar, few will top the Grand Resort in terms of the entire "feel". It's a lovely, cozy and warm resort that sets the mood for a holiday where you can unwind and recharge. The rooms are nice, and are good value for money. Three veg meals were included in my package, making the deal even sweeter (all ala carte orders are charged extra). The facilities are more than adequate considering that you are visiting a hill station and would want to explore the area more than stay in the resort. There is a badminton court, TT table, pool table, and a pool as well. The rooms are comfortable and are done with a lot of wood giving the place a sort of an old world charm. The food is good, but I personally found it to be a bit too spicy, and the deserts had generous helpings of sugar. Adequate parking space and it's proximity to the main market place, coupled with all that i've just said makes this a place i'd like to stay in again.

The best part about the hotel was its location. Mahabaleshwar consist of 4 major tourist attraction tours and the location of this hotel is a lot in the centre of those points which makes it easy and convenient to travel to the points especially when you have your own car like we did. Also the market is only about 2 kms away so one can easily stroll around there... The package came with the full meal as well as morning-evening tea times covered and the food was also good though it consisted of less varieties The staff was quite helpful in general though for special arrangements thery were very bad as it was my first anniversary and i told them to just arrange for candle light in the corner and they promised they would but they dint really do anything about it No toiletries like shampoo, tooth paste, moisturizers, napkin were provided But found the rates lower as compared to any other resort in the peak season Also they had arranged for magic show in the evening which was extreme

The hotel unfortunately was not up to the mark. It has good and clean environment, good food but rooms should be improved. The room I was stayin in, was not clean, the lights were not working properly and there was noise all the time from aircondition so I checked out a day before my check out.

I was told that room is not reserved for Ameet Sahakari as per voucher carried by me. Hotel had never confirmed booking in name of Ameet Sahakari. As a special case I was given a room 500 meters away without food and without normal standards such as bed tea, cupborad, towel, soap, room boy service, telephone, newspapers, etc. Ameet Sahakari was given room as follows:first day at Grand resort scond day at some other place Third day at Grand resort. Every day he has to pack and unpack.

Location: The view offered by some of the rooms is wonderful . There are also nice places to take walks at night nearby rooms. However, getting there/traveling around the city while staying there can be an issue if you do not have a vehicle with you. Room: The room was decently furnished with a double bed, TV. The bathrooms too were acceptably clean . Hot water is not available 24 hrs I think they have improve on this. There are however very rough and old towels and no shampoo. So take along your own. The room wasn't cleaned everyday, but the room service was otherwise responsive and food was not delivered to the room. Food: The dinner was good. However the food taste great. Mainly there is a good varieties in the food and daily you don't feel boring having a same type of food. Check-in and Check-out: Check-in Check-out was both smooth, but the room was not ready when we arrived and that was almost 2 hrs after the official check-in time. Overall: Decent hotel with a

It was a grand property as the name suggest. The ambiance was quite pleasing and room was spacious. The staff was polite and always willing to serve their best. I also taste the food it was fine but not so delicious. The location was awesome, it was nearby the market and quite peaceful. I think they need to work on the service a bit otherwise it was a memorable stay.

The resort has very good surroundings and is well spread out. The food, though veg only, was good. The breakfast needs to have some more variety. The teacups / glasses should have been a little cleaner. The overall cleanliness was OK. But July is not the best season to be in Mahabaleshwar as it rains heavily and everything is soggy and foggy. I did lose my slippers at night when I removed them and kept outside the room, probably the monkeys or cat picked them up, I was told.

Grand Resort is a must for nature lovers who are looking for a break from the urban life. A perfection in all the services provided by Grand Resort staffs defines its uniqueness. The environment is perfectly well surrounded by the mountain so as to enjoy the morning charm of the nature at stone-throw away distance. It is also away from the crowded market which puts its guests in complete comforts. The room service is also very good at all odd hours with excellent food system in buffet style which adds its another uniqueness. The food was delicious and tasty and the staffs were co-operative for all other services such as Points Visit. I recommend this Resort for the travellers taking a break in Mahabaleshwar.

Drive to the Hotel:- We left from Navi Mumbai at 5am to beat the traffic and in no time we were at the 2nd food mall on the expressway to be precise at 6am, yes we took the expressway route to Mahabaleshwar. We started our journey again and enetered Pune on the outskirts and drove down on the road to Satara, then we turned right for Wai and found that Mahabaleshwar was just 40 kms and it was juts 8:15am so we halted and eventually reached Mahabaleshwar via Panchgani at 9:30am The Grand Resort. Though the check in time is 10am but the room was vacant and we were allotted the same, it was a cottage with car parking space in front of the cottage. The view is splendid ,greenery everywhere and the type I wanted. Room:- Room was clean and tidy, it had a AC but we had not opted for the same, it was fitted with a LCD TV, with a bed which is not a queens bed but enough for 2 persons and one sofa cum bed. Room Service / Staff:- There was no hot water but on enquiring we were helped with a

Location was not that great near the hotel. Our room was not so well maintained. The bathroom was not maintained properly their was a lecage of water from the roof. There were mosquitoes and mouse in the room. The food was hopeless in taste. But the staff were kind and courteous towards their work. It is not worth the money.

Location: <1 km from main market. To me it was convenient location. Ambience: Amidst trees, feels good. Lots of space. Children park was not maintained ( rusted slides). Swimming pool is sufficiently big but it was not clean to my expectations. Had good seats next to pool to relax, I liked them. Sufficient parking space. Rooms: big enough but not maintained- old furniture, bathroom door not closing etc... Hot water runs only during morning 2.5 hrs. Food: I opted for package that included food. They have fixed menu. The lunch on both days had limited ( but tasty) option. Dinner had soup, sweet dish which was missing during lunch. Staff: Very friendly and quick.
