Location & Reception : The location of the resort is excellent, with the restaurants & all the rooms commanding a great view of a waterfall amidst the green Western Ghats. The check-in was smooth, sweetened by the lime-tulsi welcome drink served on arrival. The staff in banana-leaf green Indian attire conveyed a sense of eco-friendliness & traditional Indian hospitality. Rooms : The rooms were spotlessly clean, and had all required amenities ,like plasma tv, tea-coffee maker, mini-fridge, locker & a glass-walled bathroom with shower enclosure. Room-service was prompt & courteous. The electric kettle in our room wasn't working, but it was replaced in 30 minutes after we had informed housekeeping. Excellent

The Duke's Hotel offers a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. The hotel has been renovated, and the rooms are quite comfortable. In room dining offers limited choices and the food quality could definitely improve, but overall it was a great experience.

Its got an amazing view and its nice to go there in monsoon but the hotel food menu is very sad and there is no choices near the hotel. The ambiance in the dutchess resturant in the hotel is very empty and the staff seem to very nervous to customer interaction.Everything else is good. And just one last thing the staff needs to call the guest room lesser time than the did with me.i.e.to check for things like housing especially when i hve put dnd.
